Steel toe boots that you can use for more than one application. These boots can be polished to a shine. The toe is pointed, but not enough to make the toe box area uncomfortable. Size and fitment are true. Goodyear welt stitching. Padded foot bed insert. Non-ship, high traction treads. Made in Dominican Republic.
Toe isn't really pointed enough, and outsoles with treads, will not make this a good boot for slipping in and out of stirrups on horseback. However, the steel toe is ANSI rated so this will work as a safety shoe for jobsites which require such. A slip on design with pull tabs makes this boot easy to don and doff, however, you can not lace tie or buckle the ankle area for full support. Boots can be polished for appearance if you have uniform inspections. I have found this to be a comfortable boot for walking and riding motorcycles. Those who have to run in their shoes may consider something with a lacing system. While not a full lug, Vibram type sole, this boot has provided acceptable traction for me in rain, mud, and loose dirt & gravel.
Not quite a duty shoe. Not quite a construction shoe. Not quite a dress shoe. But more like a "Leatherman Tool" that could work for different applications.

These boots shine up good enough for church on Sunday. I polish them once a week and use a horsehair brush. They look good and are a good safety item for work.

I got these on overstock clearance about five years back from a surplus outlet, and I liked them so much after the first month that I bought two more pair. I used to suffer from shin splints wearing work boots until I started wearing Wolverine's (and thick wool socks). Now that's an ailment of the past. The Durashock system isn't a gimmick. It really works when you're on your feet on hard surfaces for 12 to 14 hours a day. I highly recommend Woverine boots in general and these ones specifically. They also make a great motorcycle boot, even though they don't have the harness usually associated with MC boots.
Also, the steel toe has saved my piggies more than a few times.
