As the lion pride awoke that dawn, it was abundantly clear that Wilkins' boots had survived the night, though the same could not be said of him. Farguson noted in his report to the commissioner, "Lions have not developed a taste for Men's Hunter Argyll Short Robber Boots yet, particularly in size 15M. For that we should be abjectly thankful. I believe Wilkins' remains will fit nicely in the boots, once the pride moves on, and future campers will find little need to tarry here in N'GoroGoro Crater henceforth."
