Twenty-five years ago Baffin Footwear began manufacturing insulated and non-insulated footwear products. While traditional molded boots are suitable for some conditions, they are not ideal for cold temperatures. I have owned various well made boots by Rocky, Sorel etc. But comparing those to these is like comparing a Benz to a Ferrari. These are super warm and comfy, not hot and bulky like I was expecting. I use these primarily for deer hunting in northern WI were I don't do much moving around and they keep me with warm feet for the whole day. I guess my only complaint is they do get hot if you try to drag a good size deer out of the wood. If these boots ever wear out I will purchase another Baffin no question! I would recommend getting a size 1 or 2 above your normal size, I wear a size 12 and purchased a size 14.

I like this pair of boots but I don't know if they are as warm as their -130 rating. I ware them ice fishing and my feet still get a little cool. The boots have a nice secure fit but do run a little small I think.

These were recommended to me and I am glad I purchached them. Finally had snow and cold to use them. feet were toasty, My other pair of winter boots from LL Bean after a while standing around doing photogrphy me feet would get cold. If you spend your time outdoors in the winter these are the boots for you Rated down to - 100 degrees centergrade
