These are very attractive boots but very lightweight. The leather... if it is leather... is very thin and soft. I could probably puncture it with a pencil. They are definitely no good for ANY kind of work, even light work; nor for ANY kind of hiking. If you're looking for something that looks nice but aren't planning to wear a lot, these might be for you. I am a size 12 and I ordered size 13 because my feet are wide. These were still narrow and too tight on the bridge. Otherwise, they seem comfortable and again, look very nice but are not a heavy duty boot.
